Visiting Us

Hennacy House of Hospitality

Would you like to stay with us for a week or a few months?

We welcome adults who may have an interest in community life as a Catholic Worker to apply to come and “try it out” with us for a short period of one week to a few months. We are a pacifist resistance community that attempts to balance both service to the poor on the streets of Los Angeles, and resistance to war, nuclear weapons, social service cutbacks, and other social injustices, the death penalty, and bloated military budgets that rob from the poor and make the world an unsafe place to live. If you are interested in sharing our communal life you should be open to this aspect. If you are interested in the Los Angeles Catholic Worker, and live in the Los Angeles area, please drop in on any kitchen day or at our Wednesday evening liturgy and introduce yourself. If you do not live locally, we ask that you either write a letter or send us an e-mail introducing yourself with a short background and we will respond relatively quickly.

  1. Hello Jeff,
I’d like to send a donation to CW (in memory of Tim Carpenter). I couldn’t find this info on your website.
