Los Angeles Catholic Worker Wednesday Evening Liturgies
(COVID-19 NOTICE: Wednesday liturgy gatherings at the Hennacy House are currently not open to the public. We are currently asking visitors not to come to the house because we have a number of vulnerable people living here. However, we are having liturgies every other week on Zoom. Please e-mail us at [email protected] for further info. Also, please continue to be with us in these challenging times by keeping our community and the people of Skid Row in your prayers.)

We welcome anyone who is interested to join us for our Wednesday evening home liturgies. We begin at 6 pm followed by a potluck dinner. Our liturgies vary from having ordained ministers/priests presiding or a lay presider depending on the availability of our ordained friends. All of our liturgies are ecumenical, and we have a shared reflection on the biblical readings used, where if you are moved by the Spirit, you can share your thoughts/insights on the readings, though this is not obligatory.

Hello!
I’m currently taking a gap year before college and traveling down the west coast. I’ve been trying to stop at catholic worker houses along the way to learn more about the movement and help out when possible. Sorry about the short notice but I am arriving this evening and flying out Thursday night, and was hoping to visit and maybe plug in helping out with a meal or something tomorrow or early Thursday.
Thank you for doing what you do!
Patrick
